How data sync works
Understanding sync frequency, historical backfills, and data freshness.
Skubl syncs data from your connected sources on a schedule managed by background workers. Here's how it works.
Sync schedule
| Source | Sync frequency | Historical backfill |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Daily | 90 days on first sync |
| Search Console | Daily | 90 days on first sync |
| Google Ads | Daily | 90 days on first sync |
| Meta Ads | Daily | 90 days on first sync |
| Shopify / Stripe | Daily | 90 days on first sync |
Manual sync
You can trigger a manual sync at any time from Data → Connect. Navigate to the individual connector page and click 'Sync now'. This is useful after you've made a change to a data source or want fresh data before a presentation.
GSC and GA4 both have inherent data delays — GSC is 2–3 days, GA4 is typically 24–48 hours. Manual syncs won't return data newer than these delays.
