Connect Google Analytics 4

Pull sessions, users, conversions and page-level traffic data from GA4.

Connecting GA4 gives Skubl access to your site traffic — sessions, users, pageviews, conversions, and revenue by day. This powers the Performance module, Page Intelligence, and the Summary dashboard.

Steps to connect

1

Go to Data → Connect

Navigate to the Connect page from the sidebar or click the Connect shortcut in the General section of the rail.

2

Click 'Connect' on Google Analytics 4

You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen.

3

Authorise access

Select the Google account that owns your GA4 property and grant read access.

4

Pick your property

Skubl will list all GA4 properties your account can access. Select the one matching your website.

5

First sync

Skubl pulls 90 days of historical data on first sync. This takes 2–5 minutes.

Skubl requests analytics.readonly scope only. We never write data back to your GA4 property.

Page-level data

After your first sync completes, go to Performance → Page Intelligence and click 'Sync GA4 pages' to pull per-URL traffic data. This populates sessions, pageviews, bounce rate and avg. time on page for every URL on your site.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see 'Property ID not set', complete the property picker step after OAuth.
  • If data looks wrong, check that you selected the correct GA4 property (not Universal Analytics).
  • GA4 data has a 24–48 hour lag — today's data may not yet be available.
